PRAYING AND NOT LOSING HEART!

Jesus spoke a parable saying that men ought to pray and not lose heart. Luke 18:1

Walking in faith and praying for needs, healing, and deliverance for family and friends is a never-ending battle. As you know if you are a believer, spiritual warfare is necessary for prayer and intersession.

The Word holds thousands of promises to claim when praying but the answer to our prayers doesn't always come at once. Jesus told of a certain judge who didn't fear God or regard man and a certain widow came to him, saying, "Get justice for me from my adversary." The judge refused at first, but afterward, he granted her request because she was wearing him out with her request for justice.

Throughout my journey with Jesus, I have had to pray my way through many circumstances, sickness, demon-possessed people, and financial trials! Some prayers were answered quickly but others took some time and faith to see it through! There are many times I was tempted to lose heart, but God always strengthened me with His word and promises.

 GOD IS FAITHFUL

Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. "And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?" Luke 18:7

It seems as I get older the trials become longer and the temptation to lose heart comes more often. I know His word and I claim His promises but when there is no change in the circumstance the enemy comes to rob, kill, and destroy my faith!

When this happens, we are to stand firm in our faith that God will indeed come through for us as He promised! My wife and I are in the midst of trials of sickness for she and I. I have fought cancer for ten years and she has fought multiple illnesses for the twenty-five years we have been married and longer.

There have been victories and healing and battles fought but there have also been times when the enemy returns to try and make us lose heart! Trust me, it doesn't do any good to get mad at God or throw a fit, but to keep one's peace and see the battle through, keeping your eyes and heart on the One who loves you, the Lord Jesus! Remember, we are more than conquerors in Christ!

"I tell you that God will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Your servant in Christ, Timothy Laughlin
Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Tim Laughlin has been involved in full time ministry for over thirty-five years. Set free from a $2000.00 a week cocaine addiction and fifteen years of alcoholism, Tim gave his life to Jesus in 1980 and was immediately delivered. Trained in the streets, led only by the Holy Spirit, Tim prayed for drug addicts, prostitutes and anyone else that wanted to be free from the strongholds of sin. With a burning desire to see people saved and healed Tim founded and directed several Christian residential programs such as Manna Ministries, one of the largest and most successful women's ministries in the Southwest. Apostle to the ''NO-BODY'S'' of this world, Tim has been involved in virtually every facet of ministry, from prison, ex offenders, UN-wed mothers, addicts, Gays and those that nobody wants. Without formal training and only a love for people Tim has seen hundreds set free, healed, delivered and raised from the dead by God's powerful anointing available to everyone that asks Him. Through many trials and fires in his own life Tim has learned to trust in the Lord for all of his needs and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in every circumstance. His vision is for the Body of Christ to become the powerful army of disciples that God intended them to be, trained for battle and loving people from all walks of life. Tim's wife, Mary Ann works along side him ministering and training those that come for help. Deemed hopeless from extended drug abuse and surviving five mental institutions, Mary Ann was set free and healed miraculously and restored to a beautiful woman of God. Tim and Mary Ann are available to speak to your church or organization. Personal counseling and individual training are available upon request. Drug and alcohol addiction therapy is also available for adults and teens through support groups and referrals. For more information please contact us. ***Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."   Psalms 103: 2-4***
